Welcome to my blog!

In it, I plan to invite you to peek through the shadows of the dos and don’ts you’ve learned about food, and to step into the warm welcoming arms of the world of Simple Food Sane Life™! It’s true—many years of practice have proven it to me—simple food helps create a sane life. As you get to know me through reading Simple Food Sane Life, you’ll discover I am quite passion about food, health and healing.

I love the way people relate to all the types of food in their lives, whether it be what is on their meal plate or the food that is on their life plate. One of the common questions I hear, as an Integrative Nutrition & Health Counselor, is ‘what should I be eating?’ Or even, a demand like ‘tell me what I should be eating.’ I always give the same, sane answer. Food. Eat REAL Food. Simple. Well, maybe not so simple for everyone. Why? Their relationship with food is a intriguing story.

Starting today, I encourage you to explore a polygamist relationship with food. Enjoy the energy of the food. Experiment with colors, textures, aromas, flavors. Real foods that nature provides for us are our best source to build and sustain a healthy body, recover from and prevent disease, so that we can enjoy an amazing body and life!

Each day food is our medicine. Food heals and nurtures us in many ways. Let me paraphrase food guru, Marc David , “The food itself is neither good nor bad, it’s how we choose to use it.” Choose the food that will bless and heal your incredible body, soul and spirit. I invite you to plunge right into each new day with me removing the barriers, and make the choices for a healthier happier relationship with food, health and life.

Peace,

Karyn
